Subject: Tanigawa is now Meijin!

Dear Tanigawa fans,

Yesterday Tanigawa won the sixth game of Meijin title match and he took the
Meijin title from Habu.  Because he has won the Meijin title five times in h
is career, he will become the 17th eternal Meijin after his retirement.
Now he owns two big title, Meijin which is the most traditional and honorabl
e title and Ryuo which is the title with the largest prize.  I believe he ha
s recovered from the long slump caused by Habu.

A surprising turn-over happend around 21:00 yesterday.  The following endgam
e was very exciting and so difficult that the commentator, a famous professi
onal player, could not explain it in the simultaneous commentary.  The audie
nces including me had frustration a little bit.  The better comment will app
ear in the next Shukan Shogi which will be translated by Reijer's great effo
rt.  We should appreciate it.
