Subject: Tori shogi

Is there any special rules about promotion of dropped pawn.
Do pawns promote if dropped to the 2 last lines?
If not when do dropped pawns promote and when not.

This wasn't mentioned on the tori shogi home pages and the author was
not sure.

Do the pices that start at the corers and pieces next to them.(sorry I
forgot names) promote (i assume they dont)?
