Subject: Tokin Tournament 1997 -- February 22+23 (The Hague,

The annual tournament of The Hague Shogi Club "Tokin" will be
held on February 22 and 23 at the usual venue "Ockenburg"
(Monsterseweg 4, 2553 RL The Hague; tel. +31-703970011).

The tournament will consist of five rounds, one hour per player
each plus 30 seconds byoyomi.

You're kindly requested to check in on Saturday by 11:00. The
first round of the three played on Saturday will start at 11:30. The
fourth round will start at 9:30 on Sunday morning.

Accommodation can be reserved at the Hotel/Youth hostel
"Ockenburg"  (see above for address); the price for a double
room and breakfast at the hotel is about Dfl. 60,- per person;
a single room is about Dfl.85,-. The price for the hostel is about
Dfl. 28,- (excluding hire of sheets, approx. Dfl. 6,25).

Dinner on Saturday evening is Dfl.16,50; Lunch on Sunday is
Dfl. 12,50.

You can reach the venue by bus 122, 123 or 124 from
The Hague Central Station (stop "Monsterseweg") or
by tram 3 ("Arnold Spoelplein"). If you travel by car,
follow direction "Kijkduin/Monster".
