This year we very pleased to be hosting the 1997 U.S. Shogi Championship & 2nd North American Amateur Ryu-O Tournament, to be held on April 12-13, during the peak of the Cherry Blossom season. The event, in fact, will coincide with the '97 Sakura Matsuri(Cherry Blossom Festival). There is not a better time of year to visit the nation's capital!
