ShogiViewer, a java applet to publish Shogi Diagrams and Game Scores. ===================================================================== Introduction. ------------- This is the announcment of ShogiViewer 1.0b1, the first public release. ShogiViewer is a simple java applet that allows you to display shogi diagrams and game scores on your home page in a visual way. Most of the annoying bugs should be fixed in this version. Some of the features are - Any situation can be displayed. - Display is in a book-alike fashion. - A single board position can be shown, as well as a full game. - Support for handicap games. - Last move is marked in red. - Easy to use, and easy to put on your web page. - Display can be animated (autoplay). - Display is small, so you can fit many games on a page. - Move count (Japanese style) is displayed in status bar. - Diagrams are printable. - Diagrams can be remote-controlled using buttons elsewhere on the page or on other pages. - ...
