Some of the programs had so-called (for commercial purpose) dan, but they did not have expected strength. Now, they are actually stronger than usual 2-dan, I guess. At least stronger than 1-dan. Kakinoki shogi, AI shogi (Mr. Yamashita's) and Kanazawa shogi entered the amateur tournament. They rated 1-dan or more. Mr. Kakinoki would have more detailed information. AI shogi (YSS in the tournament), Kanazawa shogi, Kakinoki shogi, Morita shogi and Eisei Meijin are the excellent programs. You may ask Mr. Kakinoki for more information. Takenobu Takizawa
