Subject: Wisconsin Shogi Club

        As some of you in Midwest region of the United States are already
familiar with this, I would like to briefly introduce everyone about
Wisconsin Shogi Club, our new Shogi club, located in Madison, the capital
city of state of Wisconsin, about two-hour drive from Chicago, IL.
        This new club is held weekly on Thursdays at Memorial Union at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison.  So far, the members for this club are
mostly Japanese students at the university.  The strength of the players
varies between 8 kyu to 5 dan, and there are some female players.
Currently we are trying to recruit members from western chess players.
        If any of you who sees this has a chance to visit here,  please
feel free to drop by the club or contact us for a special meeting.
