From: Pieter Stouten CARBON DMPC COM> Date: 12 sep 1996 Subject: Mail about KIWAME shogi (2) My earlier assessment that Kiwame 2 was not posted to SHOGI-L seems to have been incorrect. It was sent, but in a separate mail that just appeared. I request of you all that you delete the posting that had Kiwame 2 attached, and (in case your mailer automatically detaches or converts attachments) that you also delete the attachment and the program themselves. I have asked maintainers of sites that mirror SHOGI-L to delete the posting with Kiwame 2. I ask you to do the same if you know of sites that mirror SHOGI-L. I assume that everybody understands that we have a serious problem and that everything much be done to minimize the damage. Let me reiterate a statement I made in an earlier mail: (re)distributing copyrighted software without prior consent from the copyright holders constitutes an act of piracy for which there is no place on SHOGI-L. Thank you for your cooperation. Pieter Stouten, co-owner SHOGI-L stoutepf carbon dmpc com
