I was given to understand that this was a list for the discussion of
Shogi. But I keep hearing of discussions of pieces/variants that I have
never heard of. [fire dragon, tenjeku, dai, chu, wa]

Could you please explain to me what is going on here?

And, incedentally (sp?) could you send me a doc (or the URL of one) of
the rules for one of these variants?
