I'vehad :hundreds of games where a dropped pawn mate appeared in an :important variation, :and at least a dozen games where one of these nonpromotion was :actually played. Can you post the score of an actual game in which a player chose not to promote a Bishop, rook or pawn? I too have seen it only in composed problems. Howard Wachtel
