Subject: SHOGI-L has moved - please read on!

This past weekend SHOGI-L has moved from techNION to techUNIX. The
list of subscribers has been moved to the new system as well, so
there should not be any need for anybody to resubscribe to SHOGI-L.
The impact that the move has on SHOGI-L subscribers should be
minimal as the same type of software (Listserv) is used as before
the move. So far the transition has gone without any problems.

Here follow the changes that you have to be aware of:

* The SHOGI-L archive will be reachable by FTP (rather than through
  mail via the listserver). SHOGI-L archive files can be obtained
  from ftp.technion.ac.il by anonymous FTP. At this moment only
  game scores are stored there. They are located in directory
  /pub/unsupported/listserv/shogi/games. Gradually, all other files
  will be moved, as well.
  Log files of messages sent to SHOGI-L will *NOT* be stored in the
  FTP area, but can still be obtained from the listserver.

* To send mail to SHOGI-L (which gets redistributed to all
  subscribers), address it to:

      shogi-l <at> techunix <dot> technion <dot> ac <dot> il

* To send mail to the listserver (to (un)subscribe, change options,
  etc.), address it to:

      listserv <at> techunix <dot> technion <dot> ac <dot> il

Mail sent to the old addresses (shogi-l <at> technion <dot> technion <dot> ac <dot> il and
listserv <at> technion <dot> technion <dot> ac <dot> il) will be forwarded to their
respective equivalents at techUNIX for the moment. This forwarding
will stop soon, however, so please address your mails to techunix
from now on. If you use nicknames for SHOGI-L and/or listserv,
pointing to node techNION, please make sure to change them such
that they point to node techUNIX instead.
