Subject: Re: Problem with shogi web page

   I'm running the Windows 95 version of Netscape, which
does support Java.  It even says "Running Java applet" as it
loads the graphics.  So what is different about what it
tries to do once it is done with the graphics?
   Also, a suggestion to the author - try to connect and
wait for a challenger BEFORE loading the board graphics
(takes about 5 min. in my case) - I'm not familiar with Java
or what it can do, but if it's possible to do, it would seem
a much more "friendly" way to do things.
