I hope its reasonably advanced because there are a reasonable number of beginner books available. I also salute Sano's translation efforts I'm especially looking forward to it all begins with a pawn ... I feel sad that I've got to wait 3 years but I guess what is worth doing is worth doing well. I'd like to think that I'd read write japanese in tree years but it never seems to work out that way.
