Tony Hosking (one of the strongest European players) has almost finished writing a Shogi book in English. He *only* has to prepare the 700 or so diagrams that go into the book and find a publisher. Knowing Tony, it will be a very solid piece of work. This brings me to the following: Tony needs a Macintosh program to generate diagrams. The only program I have is Shogi Kifu (=recorder) 2.3, but I have not been able to figure out how to generate diagrams of arbitrary positions without starting from the initial position. So if somebody knows of a Macintosh program that can be used to generate diagrams of arbitrary positions or knows how to do that with Shogi Kifu, please let me know. Tony and the entire English-speaking Shogi community will be grateful!
