My Shogi pages are all available via anonymous ftp from directory
/local/stouten at ftp.halcyon.com. The relevant files are:

shogi.html
us-shogi-champ.html
shogi-l.html
shogi-l-list.html
iss-players.html
elo-europe.html
tourn-europe.html
shogi-soft-eqp.html
shogi_software.html

They are all in html format, so even if you copy them to your local
machine, you would still need a web browser to read them comfortably. I
wonder if you have ftp access, then how come you cannot read pages with a
web browser? Are you behind a firewall? If so, your provider only has to
run a proxy server to give you web access.
