If the Black liked to trade Bishops in Ishida-style ranging rook, G6i-5h would not be so good. It must have been static at this stage so that the Black would keep the option whether G6i-7h or G6i-5h depending on Bishop trade. G6i-5h would bring a more room for a Bishop in White's hand to be dropped effectively. > 6 G6a-5b 52 Kn right > 7 S3i-3h 38 Gn > 7 K5a-4b 42 G > 8 K4h-3i 39 G > 8 K4b-3b 38 G > 32G (typo) > 9 K3i-2h 28 G > 9 P3c-3d 34 F > 10 P4g-4f 46 F P4g-4f is a bad move. K8i-7g or P6g-6f would be better. The Black should avoid Bishop trade with G6i-5h in Ishida-style ranging rook. > 10 B2bx8h+ 88 K nari It's usually bad for ranging rook to trade kaku. > 11 S7ix8h 88 Gn Now the White leads the game. There will be a Bishop drop inside the promotion zone(B*7h) if the Black activate the left Silver to 7g which is considered a good shape. Regards Manabu Terao
