I reviewd your excellent anlayze of 2 mai-ochi game well. I believe 2 mai-ochi and all other handicap gamea are very important for the beginners to be more skilful shogi players because Shitate can study many of good Tesuji from Dan class players. By the way, I am quite happy tonight because I won the game with 4 Dan player this evening under Ryu-O tournament in our club (The winner will obtain about US$1,000 sponsored by some big Japanese big companies here). He took the strategy of 3rd file ranging rook with Anaguma. However, I already studied the lesson from Mr.Mushano in NHK TV lecture which explains how to attack Furi-Ana. Usually my score with 4 Dan players are very inferior but according to this formula, I moved Koma exactly and then Gote's Anaguma was completely bunkrupted. Koma position like: 77 Kei, 66 Kaku, 95 Fu, 85 Gin. From this stage, the movements of 95 Fu, Do Fu, Do Gin are the famous formula as you have already known it wel. I believe this is why to study formulas are very important. I won this 4 Dan last time also by Onigoroshi formula because he did not know the 62 Kin protection. However, this strategy is effective only for one time as trick. 1. I recieve 3-4 questions everyday. But I can not spend my time so oftenly, so that the mails are pended to reply like snow Daruma. 2. This is very important to get the agreement from the persons who give me personal e-mails. I am sure to ask peopls's agreement first before sending you their questions. I hope my little efforts may contribute to spread shogi into the world step by step because I love shogi and believe all shogi players are good fellows. Yoroshiku Onegai Shimasu!
