Apparently that negates all further analysis. There was a typo in Black's seventh move, it should have read R-3f. The Japanese score was correct.. I'd say this pleads for automatic conversion. :-) Status of this project: I've been busy on the internal representation first, followed by diagram generation (which can play a big role in testing/debugging) and the Western style output routine. These are about finished. The next step will be to read and parse Japanese style input. The reverse routines and keyword support are scheduled later. If anyone would like to help testing at an early stage, send me note. :-) > : Hineri-Bisha Point #6: > : Answer: Sente Gote Black White > : 43 Fu Do Gyoku P*4c Kx4c > : 26 Hi 32 Gyoku R-2f K-3b > : 43 Fu P*4c > : 70% of the answers were correct and I understood people in > : attack after 43 Fu (P*4c), Do Gin (Sx4c), there were many > : 43 Fu Do Gin P*4c Sx4c > : 53 Kaku Naru 52 Kin B-5c+ G-5b > : 71 Uma 92 Hi +B-7a R-9b > : 81 Uma 62 Hi +B-8a R-6b > : 15 Kei! Sente much superior! N-1e > What is the point of the drop N*1e? What happens after ...P1d; Nx2c+ > Kx2c? Rx2c. The P*4c taken by the Silver is the _second_ pawn drop at 4c. This is the place where the required number of steps for the solution stopped, and after which people apparently suggested weird continuations. BTW, I was misled at first too.
