     Prospectus of International Shogi Popularization Society

     1. Objectives

     The objectives of this society are:
       - To spread one of Japanese traditional cultures, Shogi.
       - To promote international relations between many countries
         and Japan through Shogi.
       - To hold the Shogi Olympics periodically.


     2. Organization

     This society is founded as a voluntary group and will be incorporated
     as "World Shogi Association" in the near future.
     This society consists of many members in the world who support the
     objectives above.

     The office of this society is located at:
        2-9-15 Kajiwara
        Kamakura, Kanagawa 247, Japan

     The representative of this society is:
        SANADA, Naohiro


     3. Funds

     The funds of this society consist of:
       - Membership fees from corporate or individual members
       - Monetary contribution or subsidies from the groups or the
         individuals who support the objectives of this society.


     4. Relationship between Japan Shogi Association and this society

     Considering international Shogi spreading plans and long-term plans of
     Japan Shogi Association, this society will accomplish the objectives
     above.


     5. Current goals

     The current goals of this society are:
       - To make and distribute rule books, textbooks and pamphlets about
         Shogi written in many languages other than Japanese.
       - To provide information about Shogi by the bulletin of this society
         for many countries.
