A man of action!  Good job... You know, if we are unable to link the list
to the newsgroup right away, it is possible that we could at some point
in the future do it.  As far as having them separate, I still believe its
a good idea.  One or the other may become idle, true, but I don't believe
that it will be that bad.  I am currently subscribed to
rec.games.chinese-chess and I highly doubt that EITHER the mailing list or
the newsgroup will generate as few posts per day as that particular
newsgroup.  The mere existence of that newsgroup from the very beginning
had me asking "WHY is there no rec.games.shogi?"

Very good idea, I just casted my vote.  With all that is on the Internet, I'm
surprised sumo wasn't already on there.
