Briefly, I have already corresponded with GH and received his permission to scan in the images of pieces and moves from his leaflets. Currently I have Tori Shogi and Wa Shogi set up as URLs: http://www.ed.ac.uk/~rjhare/tori-shogi/intro.html http://www.ed.ac.uk/~rjhare/wa-shogi/intro.html It is my intention (eventually) to set up a URL for Chu Shogi, but I intend to stop at that point because the amount of work involved scanning in the images of pieces and moves, and (most importantly) cleaning them up is quite large. Personally, I would welcome someone setting up some of the other variants, but I would recommend that you write to GH and ask for permission to use his material before undertaking such an exercise.
