Pieter,

Just a quick note to inform you that Wa-Shogi can be played either
with or without drops. Tenjiku-Shogi, I believe, should only be
played without drops - imagine the devastating effect of dropping
some of the many ranging pieces.

The World Wa-Shogi Postal Championships is currently in progress.
The championship attracted 14 entrants who are playing Wa-Shogi
with drops.
