So igui can be regarded as the lion capturing a piece in move 1 and moving back to its original square in move 2. There are some real nice pieces in the larger variants, e.g. the drunk elephant that promotes to crown prince (which effectively is a second king), and the hookmover whose move consists of two perpendicular rook-type movements.
