I'd have said that the counting here is "untraditional". ;-) If you want my opinion (or if you don't, anyway) , counting down seems more natural in that it is more easily extended to different durations.. (By which I mean that the "so many seconds left" warning is probably more easily associated with how much you can still consider... oh well..) :-| Jeroen
