Subject: Java and Win3.1

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone else out there has had problems with Java and
Netscape 2.01 with Windows 3.1, and if so, how if at all they were able
to arrive at a solution.  I have tried to access one of the Java Shogi
sites on several occasions, plus a few other known Java game sites and
the result is always a page with some text, and maybe a background, but
never the application that is supposed to have loaded as well.  Since
there has been some discussion in recent months regarding Java Shogi and
Win95, I'm starting to wonder if Java only works on Win95.

Yes, I have checked the Java script enabled box in my preferences folder,
although I do not have the version with the Java console window.

Any one with similar problems?
