Mr. Shima, now 8 dan in A class, has worn European suits (designed by Georgio Armani, <-- spelling?) when he played Ryu-oh title matches about five years ago. I think this was the first occasion, wearing European suits in major title matches. Some professionals criticized him of breaking 'good' tradition and told Mr. Shima's sense of clothes was strange.
