Subject: Tori Shogi Openings

Hello,

I am compiling a book on Tori Shogi openings and theory. I am just starting
this project so any contributions are welcome. My model for this book will
be MCO13. All new contributions will be acknowledged and will be sent a
copy of the book/document/pamphlet when completed.

On a specific question, does anybody see 3a-3b or 5a-5b as viable openings?
They both seem to beg for loss of the Pheasant (Kiji) to a Sparrow
(Tsubame) drop.
