For Chinese chess, not I happen to think that the Shogi Master English pieces are rather ugly and will never play with them(I like the program though). I can see why you would use them for online play since you are entering the notation using an English alphabet. The only set I have seen that I consider remotely non-ugly that has English lettering is a set that a friend of mine owns. It has the letter of the name of the piece(G for gold and all that stuff) AND it has arrows on the piece indicating how the piece move. The only pleasing part about it is that a beginner could take the set and not have to worry about memorizing how the pieces move. Its still not a very pretty set, and all that I have seen to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye is the Japanese lettering. Hugh
