Subject: Hello, and a question...

Hi to all members of this discussion list. I just joined and I am so
relieved to see that there are many shogi players on the net ;)
I was wondering if anyone knows of any other shogi servers on the net,
other than the Go server, which does have shogi but has only 2 Shogi players.
If anyone does occasionally visit this server, my login name is RussFinn,
and I am always looking for a person to play.

As for my question...I have tried to download the GNU shogi program, but
I can not run it at all. What exactly is it? Why can't I run it?
Btw, I am using a Macintosh at home and the message I receive is as follows:
        The application 'Unknown' has unexpectedly quit because an error
        of type 2 has occured.   (sometimes it says type 3)
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Finally, I live in the Baltimore/Towson area and frequent coffee shops
with my Japanese friend whom I play Shogi with. If anyone else in this
area plays Shogi, feel free to contact me if you are interested in
playing sometime.
