Ah.. so you're saying it is ILLEGAL in shogi to put your own king in check?

Anyway, in the context of this problem we can't possibly be talking about a
king move, as if there are attacked squares it means some non-King has a
move. So the solution must have at least one piece which can't move because
it would discover a check on the King. Hmm...
