I'm very glad to know there are many Shogi funs in the world. "Dr. Michael K. The software I'm using is Morita-Shogi 2-dan 2. This soft has 4 modes. The weakest mode is the Beginner Class. The next mode is the Play Room. This room has 5 levels(the sorongest is Level-5). The third mode and the fourth modes are special characteristics of this soft. If you win the three games at these modes, you can get Kyu or Dan from Japan Shogi Association. There are many strong softs for Mac and DOS/Windows in Japan. But, they require Japanese Windows or DOS/V(DOS of Japanese version). ************************************************************************ * Physical Meteorology Research Department * * * Meteorological Research Institute * Nobuyuki Kinoshita * * Nagamine 1-1, Tsukuba, Ibaraki, 305 * * * tel: +81-298-53-8707 fax: +81-298-55-6936 * * ************************************************************************
