Subject: Video Game Shogi

Hello, all.

I think Kakinoki shogi, Morita shogi and Kiwame have almost the same strength.
They are the strongest three.

Kanazawa, Kimwame's author broke the joint with the producing company LOG, and
started to sell his software with the name Kanazawa Shogi.
There is some struggle between them.

Knowing you all want English instruction or menu of shogi softwares, I will
recommend the authors to add it to their products.  It must be easy.

Iida, Matsubara, Nakayama, and I attended 8th world computer chess championship
 in Hong Kong as observers,
and lectured in its joint workshop.
We had communication with computer chess people. It was a good experience.
Matsubara and Nakayama must still be watching it to get the final result
( or might be enjoying cazino in Macau ).
Deep Blue(new version of Deep Thought) was the top runner when I came back to
 Japan.
