Ryuo is the biggest prize, about 36 millions yens I guess. Meijin is the most traditional and regarded as the most honorable title. For women, the titles I know are; Joryu Meijin (woman Meijin), Joryu O-sho (woman O-sho), Kurashiki Toh-ka (Kurashiki city's wisteria flower), Lady's Queen (sounds strange English?). These are owned by three strong players, Ms. Shimizu, Ms. Nakai and Ms. Saita who called "Ms. Forth-file Rook". Ms. Hayashiba, who had dissapeared for three months and spent days with a certain European shogi player (??), has just lost the Kurashiki Toh-ka in the last year. She appeared and denied any relations with men in her dissapearance, and delceared to continue shogi. I'm quite not sure in women titles, which the major titles are and what else there are. Does somebody knows about it? Hiroki Kawada * "After the defeat, Mechanical Engineering Res. Lab., * valuable time starts."
