Subject: Well!

I think I may just be the first person registered on the new Shogi server!
I registered right around 01:30 GMT so I think the server very recently
went up.
Although the software/interface is exactly like the Go server, none of
the registered users on the Go server are registered on the Shogi server.
Even though, as expected, there was no-one on when I just went on, I was
pretty happy to see that there were not any Go players logged in.  Not
that I have anything against Go players but it wouldn't seem like a Shogi
server if the server was dominated by Go players.  Hopefully, soon there
will be a graphical client interface available but for now I am pretty
happy to see that there is actually a Shogi server.  Unfortunately it
still says IGS, whereas a preferable title would be ISS(Internet Shogi
Server).  Oh well, slowly but surely.
So, on that note I, of course, highly encourage all who can visit the
fine server to do so tomorrow/today(By my time it is Thursday, but by GMT
it is Friday) or as soon as possible... Friday I should be periodically
logging in and looking for opponents.
