From: "Jose E. Gomez" NEURO MED UMN EDU> Date: 7 dec 1995 Subject: Re: IGS/ISS thread I think what I meant to say was mistaken to some extent. What I proposed was not the elimination of the email ladder by any means. However, I thought that it would be convenient, if both players are on the ISS, to be able to play the ladder game there and thus save some time. In order for this to be known as easily as possible, I suggested that Matthias Mutz might be able to note that people on the ladder list also play on the ISS, by say a '(ISS)' next to their name or something. That way if I wanted to challenge someone, and I noticed that he/she was on the ISS, it might be possible to schedule a time to play the game. Obviously, if the person I wished to challenge was not on the ISS, I would play him/her by email. I am simply suggesting that rather than keeping these two seperate lists and having to check two lists, we would only have to do one, the ladder list. Sorry for the misunderstanding, Jose
