I would also like to learn the standard names for the Shogi
pieces.  It's not that hard to remember the names of
eight pieces.  I just started playing Shogi, and I don't
think it would be a problem for me.  After all, I just
had to learn how to use 5 new pieces (counting the
Knights).

I do, however, think it would be easier to use english names
for the pieces, translated directly from Japanese.
(Like Flying Chariot etc.)
