Subject: New WWW shogi page

The new WWW shogi page at www.harenet.or.jp/mugen is excellent.
Everyone should check it out!  It looks like a English language shogi
newsletter that hopefully will be updated weekly, I think.  The only
bad thing is the diagrams are too small and use the style from
Leggett's book.  I do hope they consider replacing roman numerals with
(a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i) soon as well as using Japanese characters
exclusively in the diagram.  There is also an announcement of a new
book, First Steps in Shogi.  Is it strictly a beginner's book or is it
more advanced? (I'm assuming it's in English, but doesn't really say
so.)
