I think "ikyoku" would be "ikkyoku".

"Ikkyoku" means one game.
"Ikkyoku no shogi" means this is also a shogi game,
but usually it means as follows.

When reviewing actual moves at postmortem stage, one can find other
moves that lead to be balanced, we say "(kore mo) ikkyoku no shogi".
