Subject: Shogi in Washington

          The DC Shogi Club will be holding two events this weekend.
          Anyone in or around the Washington, DC area who wishes to
          participate or spectate at these events can contact me
          for more information.  We are expecting a strong
          representation of New York players who traditionally attend
          these events.
          On Saturday, the Eastern Handicap Tournament will be held
          at Cherrydale United Methodist Church in Arlington,
          Virginia. Starting time is 10:30 AM.
          On Sunday, the Eastern Ryu-o Tournament (no offense, Mr.
          Sabo!) will take place at Gallery K, located near the
          Dupont Circle Metro stop in Washington. Starting time is
          10:00 AM.
