It is hard to even try to load the openbook, without knowing Japanese myself. a while ago, After a friend sent me a copy of Mac GNU Shogi he got from Japan, I told myself there is no need to spend so much time to work on a similar program. But after the encouragement from the friend, I decide to finish the program anyway. But I don't have the time right now. So it will be a while before the program is done. I will notify the list at that time. The current program can let people play Shogi over a network, generate a move list from the game, or genearate a game record from a move list. But the engin is not there yet, so people can not play against computer. Sorry for not replying e-mails since last December. It has been an extreme busy month for me. Tie Zeng
