From: Hiroki Kawada MERL HITACHI CO JP> Date: 12 dec 1994 Subject: 6th game of Ryuo title match Mr. Habu won the 6th game of Ryuo title match, Dec. 8 and 9 in Tendo. He got the title from Mr. Sato in the score of 4-2. I went to Tendo to watch the game. Tendo is the town of hot springs, and also famous of many factories of shogi pieces. The professional players were explaining the game simultaneously in front of the audiences. But the game was so difficult, especially in endgame, that they could not show clear explanation of the next moves. After the end of the game, when Mr. Habu was interviewed at the game board, he looked flushing up and having tears in his eyes. He has won the six major titles out of seven. The rest title is Osho title which Mr. Tanigawa owns now. Mr. Habu is now close to becoming the challenger. Hiroki Kawada * "After the defeat, Mechanical Engineering Res.
