I am trying to work through this one problem at a time.  For example:

        What is byo-yomi like in shogi?
        What should the move syntax be for shogi SGF files?
        How should multiple ratings system co-exist, if at all?

There is a *large* list with these types of questions.  The Go part of
the server is about 2 years old.  In two years I hope the shogi part will
be just as nice.

BTW we are planning to have a seperate site for shogi, if enough interest
is shown.
