I heard from Japan:

At morning of Nov. 23th (in Japan it was a holiday),
Hidemitsu Moriyasu, professional shogi player (9dan),
who had the Kisei title once and challenged the Meijin
title (vs. Tanigawa), was found dead in his FUTON in
his house. The finder was his wife. She said their first
son was standing around Hidemitsu's body with a knife.
The son injured his mother and went out (the son was
not found after the case).

The son did not go to school in a few days and Hidemitsu
cautioned him to go. The police supposes the son had a
grudge against him.
