Based on the success of last year's shogi workshop we are excited to
announce the
 
                  SECOND ANNUAL EUROPEAN SHOGI WORKSHOP
 
                    1st, 2nd and 3rd  of October 1993

 * Sample traditional Japanese cuisine.

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
 
Day 1 Friday evening, 1st October:  Shogi Videos and informal game playing.
 
Day 2 Saturday 9:30-19:00, 2nd October: The Shogi Workshop
Several short formal lectures will cover basic through advanced theory,
A traditional Japanese lunch will be followed by many small, interactive
workshops.

Day 3 Sunday 9:30-16:00, 3rd October: Shogi Tournament
Quick play tournament with Shogi trophies and prizes from Japan.
 
Note: The language of the workshop is English.
 
Accommodation (Heidelberg Jugendhereberge) meals and entry fee is 100DM.
Entry only (including the Japanese lunch) is 35DM
