From: John Kenney EMBL-HEIDELBERG DE> Date: 23 nov 1992 Subject: Tsume problems Roger Hare and Antti Kartunen recently wrote Shogi-L asking about Tsume (mating) problems - are there none on the list? Reijer Grimbergen submitted two sets of Tsume problems last year. Due to lack of response, he has not submitted any more. However, perhaps with this renewed interest he may be persuaded to submit another short list of problems? What do you say Reijer? Also, there was a request for the 70+ Tsume problem which Hans Geuns showed at the Shogi workshop (3&4 Oct.) Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of it. Does anyone on the list have a copy or can someone get one from Hans? As far as the e-board goes, it is personal preference, but I like the Shogi-L board. When the pieces get mixed in close contact as the game progresses I find it easier to keep them separated. John (Kenney EMBL-Heidelberg DE)
