Subject: Japan Festival

Talked to Ishi Press (Europe) on the phone. They say Go is certainly
represented in the Japan Festival in some way or another, but they don't
know if Shogi is there. Hodges presumably isn't there, but the BSF might
have sent someone. Ishi man told me that total lack of references to Go
in newspaper articles on the event is probably journalists' fault in
reporting only things they think are "cultural". Kabuki, No etc are
cultural and Go isn't, eh? Oh well.
