So it seems that I was wrong and that in case of mutual entering kings the
points are to be counted as soon as CHECKMATE is impossible. This of course
allows players to drag on and on when they don't have enough points. In Japan
this never seems to cause a problem, but attitudes in the west seem to differ
and make rules necessary.
