Subject: Castel Sant' Angelo book fair

>From a couple of weeks ago up until about the 8th of August there is
the Castel Sant' Angelo book fair in Rome. It is 6pm-midnight every day.
There is a games area...
I take XiangQi and Shogi there, and would take Awari if I were strong
enough to carry it. Shogi has gone down quite well - yesterday an
International Master chess player tried it and thought it was great.
He tried to get the other chess players to come over and try it and they
basically just insulted him. However, there I am kept busy for
6 hours every day. (Well, actually, there's not much action at 6pm.)
 
If any of you are likely to be anywhere near Rome between now and
mid-August, do pop along to Castel Sant' Angelo. It's pretty central,
and is near all sorts of bus routes. I'm a bit surprised the Rome Go
Club doesn't have a rep there. I will phone them today to find out
why not.
