I noticed that Al Hartshorn who is our "man @Technion" has an internet address now, so it might well be that files will be available by FTP in the future. Bitnet is obsolete anyway and all limitions to internet people are imposed by bitnet-nodes, not the other way round ! You can continue to communicate with Listserv@technion, however, but you have to do everything through mail, instead of interactively or through files. The only inconvenient thing is that files with lines exceeding 80 characters will be wrapped. As far as I know only the SHOGI-L FILELIST exceeds 80 chars, so in practice this may not be a problem. Hope this helps, Cheers, Pieter Stouten felix embl-heidelberg de> embl-heidelberg de> embl bitnet>
