Subject: Shogi ladder

  Just to keep you up to date with the state of the Shogi ladder, here is the
current situation. Adam Atkinson has unfortunately been forced to retire from
the ladder.
 
  For those who are not familiar with the system, it is a play-by-mail ladder.
If you want to be on, send me (Adam Chalcraft <dac11 <at> phoenix <dot> cambridge <dot> ac <dot> uk>)
a mail message saying so, and I'll put you on the bottom. From there, you can
challenge anyone up to 5 places above you. Full rules available on request.
 
  The numbers on the right are the numbers of the matches that person is
playing. A * means that that person has refused a challenge (probably by
default by not responding).
